My heart is still, like this cold evening blue. Those hopes and desires as a child are now distant dreams. So few are the emotions that keeps motivation burning fiery red. This umbrella protects me from the chilling rain, but one day it too will fail me. A melancholic verse of yellow slips free from my lips, it is inevitable after all. I trip and fall, grasping for air as I remain submerged in my own tears of regret. A venomous Purple oozes from my pen, making transparent those feelings within a safe I called my true self. She cried for me. She cried for me when I laughed at her. I cry for her too, I want her to feel loved. Sometimes, She feels alone and broken, but I'll fix her. I'll do that. For her. She helped me up. She helped me up when I pushed her down. I will help her back up. I hate it when she falls. When people push us down, I'll help her up. We'll do that together. For us. She loved me... She loved me when I said I hated her... I love her too. More than she probably knows. Some people think it's odd. Having a close relationship with your mother. At 15. That's okay.
